License to Kill was a darker, edgier, more "realistic" Bond, and this reflects on Carey Lowell, too. She doesn't have one of the typical sassy Bond girl names, and her character is a freelance pilot working for the CIA sometimes. But of course even she can't resist the charme of Mr. Bond.

Careerwise, there was hardly a change in Carey Lowell's career, she is doing mostly TV work.
