Barbara Bach - Major Anya Amasova
(about survival strategies)
Major Anya
Amasova: That it's very important to have a positive
mental attitude.
James Bond:
Nothing more practical than that?
Major Anya
Amasova: Food is also very important.
James Bond:
Mm-hmm. What else?
Major Anya
Amasova: When necessary, shared bodily warmth.
James Bond:
That's the part I like.
Barbara Bach is not only one of the sexiest and most beautiful Bond-Girls,
in The Spy Who Loved Me she's also a brand-new type
of Bond-Girl. Far from being a dumb, use- and helpless sidekick to
super-agent James Bond, she's easily a match for him.
She is a KGB agent and James Bond has killed her lover, so she vows
revenge after their joint mission is completed. But then (like a
typical Bond-Girl does!) she falls in love with him and doesn't have
the heart to kill him.
Barbara Bach continued to make obscure movies after her role
in The Spy Who Loved Me and she had appearances in
the Playboy Magazine. |
